Literally, it was clouds over our cleanup drive on World Cleanup Day, 17-Sep-2022. But thank heavens (pun intended) the sunshine in the morning put a smile on our faces. Yes, we were able to conduct our cleanup drive as planned. The meetup saw enthusiastic bunch from Bhumi NGO, Social Responsibility Cell, Deen Dyal Upadhyay College, and Mar Gregorios Orthodox Christian Students Movement, Janak Puri Chapter. Some of these volunteers came from far flung places… truly passion can drive you distances! This cleanup drive was held in a green belt park in A1 block, Janak Puri. The park has a dhalao next to it. And perhaps that’s why some people think that the entire park is probably a dustbin.
