No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. – Aesop
Small actions might not seem like much at first, but over time, they can have a compounding effect. Actions add up or intensify over time and we can achieve big results from small daily steps.
And one such step being taken by our volunteers is regular watering of the native tree saplings planted by us. Our volunteers gathered at Sainik Vihar, Hauz Khas and Sangam Vihar last weekend to water our existing saplings.
The volunteers comprised of school and college students as well as working professionals carrying watering containers ranging from two litres water bottles to 200L water tank.
There was scarcity of water but the passion of our high-spirited volunteers could not deter them from helping our green friends.
They managed water from a nearby police beat office and within two hours, the thirst of 160+ saplings was quenched.
We will surely see the results of our actions today when these saplings will turn into big trees and protect us from the wrath of polluted air.
