Climate change: I am inevitable. And we are We Mean To Clean.

When Thanos snapped his fingers, half of the universe was destroyed. But what’s coming now is even more dangerous which can destroy this complete world of ours. It's even more dangerous because it's not fiction. It's real! The inevitable climate change.

This Sunday morning, a bunch of real life avengers assembled like every other Sunday to fight against that real threat on our world. Our infinity stones are the native tree saplings of amaltas which we planted last monsoon. And to use them as one of the unrivalled weapons against climate change and pollution, it is the responsibility of every avenger to nurture these saplings properly and regularly.

For the very purpose, this fervent group of people gathered at Sainik Vihar District park to water over 150 amaltas saplings to ensure their proper growth and survival. And this time a lot of new volunteers joined us in this amazing mission of ours.

The biggest support that we get here is the zealous kids living nearby who join us every time in our drives to do their bit in the betterment of the environment. Even they realize that the survival of this world is at stake and so is their future. So, it is the responsibility of one and all to come forward and do their bit in saving this world before its too late.

We hope that more real life avengers like you will also join and support us in this amazing initiative of ours and together we will do whatever it takes.

About 43% of population resides in urban areas, which were 11.4% according to 1901 census, 28.53% in the 2001 census and crossed 30% as per 2011 census, standing at 31.16%. Our transcendence can be termed as “a consumerist culture”, where virtually every item purchased comes fixed in a box wrapped in a bubble sheet. Native Tree Plantation at Ajmal Khan Park, Karol Bagh

PLANT A TREE, PLANT A LIFE! Total Volunteers = 16 Saplings Planted = 23 (amaltas, pilkhan) Bottle Caps Collected = 287 Continuing our weekly efforts in the monsoon season of 2019, we returned to the Ajmal Khan park on 10th of August. With a clear objective of planting native trees none needed any briefing on what to do. We had our own volunteers as well as some of the local residents. It was a pleasant morning that helped everyone’s high spirits. The soil was quite hard on the patch we targeted for our plantation. Thanks to the absence of rains and also the minor amounts of construction and demolition waste buried beneath. And we had to dig pits here! Well, it allowed some of the team members to display their muscular prowess. The seemingly difficult task of digging pits looked smooth with spades in the hands of a daedal bunch of people. The rising AQI levels bothering you? Well, the worsening air quality in Delhi has entered the poor category with the only consolation being that pollution is not as bad as that of previous years. Yes, you read it right... It’s better than previous years! Doesn’t this act as a ray of hope? A hope for a breathable Delhi! And this hope is something which motivates our volunteers to keep working towards the solution - building and raising natural carbon sinks in the capital. With the same mission, our volunteers went to nurture these carbon sinks - our saplings at Hauz Khas, Sainik Vihar and Sangam Vihar.
