NO. OF VOLUNTEERS = 30 TRASH COLLECTED = 80 KG Earth Day is a reminder that we all need to take care of this big rock that we call home. One of the ways we can take care of our home is by cleaning it up on a regular basis. We gathered on the morning of 23-Apr-2022 to cleanup the area outside Delhi Cantonment Metro Station. This whole patch is a victim of littering. We collected around 80 kgs of waste comprising mostly of disposable plastic glasses and plates, and empty packets of gutkha, pan masala, chips etc. We then delivered the waste to a waste transfer station for its proper processing. Let's not limit to environmental commemorative days to do our bit for our environment. Let's make that a lifestyle. Make every day Earth Day!
