NO. OF VOLUNTEERS = 22 TRASH COLLECTED = 40 KG We Mean To Clean in collaboration with Enactus Ramjas conducted a cleanup drive at Sainik Vihar on 27-Mar-2022. This site is home to about 200 amaltas trees we had planted a few years back. The site was in need of a cleanup drive to prevent soil contamination. Together, we collected around 40 kgs of waste, mostly plastic consisting of disposable water bottles, disposable glasses, beer bottles etc. We even segregated the waste before leaving it at the waste transfer station. We Mean To Clean (WMTC) is a Delhi-based volunteer group working towards Swachh Bharat and Climate Action through: (a) WM - Waste Management awareness programs and implementation (b) T - Tree plantation (native only) and maintenance (c) C - Cleanup Drives - Cleaning a public place that's a victim of open garbage dumping/ open urination/ defecation.
